sometimes i would have wished that things turned out differently
maybe for that one time you could have followed my lead and got on with it
everyday that passes is one more without seeing you turn and smile back
it feels so unnatural seeing you now
lets go on pretending everything is fine and things will stay this way forever
i want things to be back to how they were
this means forgiving and that means time that disappears without ever appearing
if only i would have kept coming
you would have never left
